Admission Procedures
  1. Entrance Requirements: Before admission, a high school diploma or the high school equivalency issued by a state department of education is required. Home-schooled applicants who have completed their secondary education need only submit whatever documentation is required by their state's department of education in its assessment of their home school program. A limited number of people lacking a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency may be admitted with approval as special students on probation.
  2. Application Procedure: The prospective student must complete all the following steps to be considered for admission:
    1. The application for Admission must be completed and returned to the college, with a non-refundable $50.00 application fee.
    2. The applicant must request that the high school attended send a transcript directly to BCE. If the applicant has received any college credit elsewhere, he/she must also have the college(s) attended send a transcript(s) directly to BCE.
    3. Although not required, if the applicant has taken the ACT or SAT college entrance test, he/she should have the results forwarded to BCE.
    4. Recommendation forms must be signed by the applicant and returned with the application.
    5. BCE's college policies form must be signed and returned.
